Week in Review Sept 23rd to 28th

Apples
Well last week it was carrots, now they are feeding me something called "Apples". What's next? I've heard this food stuff is good for me, but those apples are SOUR! I've since come to like these "apples" and I can even moderately tolerate the carrots, but the question remains....when do I get Pizza?! (See video)

Play Date at my place
On Friday, I hosted a play date with Eliza & Leah at my place. It was fun to entertain and host these beautiful ladies. We had a great time.

My Mommy cut off her hair
My Mommy went out on Saturday morning and left Daddy and I to hang out for a "Boys" morning. When Mommy came home she was missing a lot of her hair. I think it was cool that she donated it to a good cause called "Locks of Love". My mommy is awesome.

Week in Review Sept 17th to 22nd

Orange Cereal!?!
What is this?..... What? ……Vegetables? Carrots? Ahhh …..why do they taste like that? Blah! I’ll eat them because Mommy asked me to, but I don’t like these carrots! (see video)

Another buddy to play with
On Saturday, I went back to Toronto’s center island with Mommy & Daddy. This time we went with Mommy & Daddy’s old friend Matti (who Daddy went to high school with) and his wife Vanessa and son Quinn. We had a really nice sunny day which was one of the last days of summer apparently. I got to meet Quinn and watch him play on some of the rides. I even got to go ride on a “old model T Ford” car ride while Mommy drove. It was slower than my real car, but I didn’t need a car seat, so that was interesting.

Stand Up

Check out my new trick. I just learned to sit up, but why sit when you can stand?!?

Week in Review September 8th to 16th

Say Hello to My Two Little Friends
Well, I tell you what…..I think I’m going to get an entire set of these teeth thingies. I have two more to add to my collection and they are my upper center teeth. Man, they sure took their time to come in and they are a lot bigger than my lower teeth.

New Friends
During the week, I went with Mommy downtown to see some old Bermuda friends who came to town. I met Warren & Christine earlier this summer, but I finally met their kids Gabrielle & Logan. We didn’t get to play too long, but Gabrielle sure was cute and Logan was showing me how to walk like a big boy. I hope I get to play with these guys again.

Trip to Grandma & Granddad’s
On Tuesday last week I went with Mommy to visit Grandma & Granddad Wood near Ottawa. This was my first long car trip with just Mommy because Daddy had to stay in Toronto to work. We went to Ottawa to help organize and plan Grandma and Granddad’s 40th wedding anniversary party. I hung out all week and directed traffic and party planners, telling them how and where they could put things so that it wouldn’t interfere with my toys. Grandma & Granddad sure appreciated having me there to help out and they kept saying how they enjoyed having me around. I enjoyed visiting them as well.

The Big Party
On Saturday a whole pile of people came to Grandma & Granddad’s place to help them celebrate their anniversary. Even my Grandma Ruth came to help celebrate. Everyone seemed to have a good time and I did my best to entertain them by smiling and laughing and being a good boy. My mommy had to say a speech at one point and I helped her write it, she even started to cry because she was emotional and happy (I think I get like that when I see my rice cereal). I’m happy that the party I planned worked out so well and everyone had a good time.

Sitting Up
I’ve mastered this thing called “Sitting Up”. It’s great. I get a commanding view of everything and I can totally see all of my toys from this angle. I’m not sure why I didn’t want to do this earlier, but now I’ll add it to my routine along with my “soldier crawl”.

Week in review August 26th to September 7th

Where are your lucky charms?
On Wednesday, I finally met one of Mommy’s good friends, Linda. I think she is a Leprechaun or something like that. She used to work with Daddy in Bermuda, but she is actually from Ireland. She came over to Canada for a visit to attend a friend’s wedding but stayed and extra few days to meet me and see Mommy & Daddy. She was loads of fun and she was trying to teach me a bunch of weird sayings. She sure made Mommy happy and laugh allot. I like it when Mommy is happy.

My Appointment with the lady Doctor
Wednesday was a busy day. Not only did I meet Mommy’s friend Linda, but I also had a date with my Doctor. Dr. S wanted to see me for my six month well baby visit. I was very good and didn’t pee in her office but I still received two needles. I was very tough this time though and I didn’t let her see me cry. Well, I whimpered a little bit but there were no tears. Dr. S was impressed with my new front teeth. She was also impressed with my height. I am now 72 centimeters long (that’s a five centimeter difference from my last visit two months ago) and I now weigh 19 pounds.

The Big Huge “Bathtub”
On Saturday we went to visit my friends Haley and Rydan. We went to their Grandparents’ house just outside of Toronto. This house was huge and they had a gigantic bathtub in the back yard. Haley and Rydan were so big and brave they were jumping off the side of the huge bathtub into the water. Everyone was excited to get me into the water. I’m not sure why because I take baths all the time. Mommy and Daddy explained that this big tub of water outside is actually called a swimming pool. Rydan and Haley were having fun so I thought why not, I’ll give it a try, but I wasn’t going to try it without my Mommy. The water looked nice and blue but it was a little colder than I like my usual baths so I hung on to Mommy because she kept me warm. It was ok but maybe I’ll try again when it’s warmer outside and when I have a real bathing suit. (See video below).

I LOVE long weekends!!!
Long weekends are the best because I get to spend more time with my Daddy. Daddy was home for three whole days. We did fun things like drive downtown to see airplanes. On Monday we went for a hike on the escarpment. We saw so many trees, doggies and rock climbers. I hope we go back there again soon.

Stay Tuned
This week we will be heading to the big capital to see Grandma and Granddad. Apparently it’s their 400th anniversary. Wow, they’ve been together a long time!!
