Week in review July 14th to 20th

Niagara Falls
After brunch I went with Grandma Ruth, Mommy & Daddy to see some water falling down over a cliff. I heard it was a beautiful sight and once I finally woke up to see it I couldn’t believe how awesome it was.

Brunch
On Sunday all the Bermuda friends went for something called a “brunch”. I think Cameron and I were extra important guests as we were seated in special “high chairs”. The adults put lots of food in their mouths and then they were moving and talking very slowly. I think baby Cameron and I were the most energetic and lively ones there. Is this what happens when you drink to much milk and stay up to late?

I finally meet the Bermuda crew
I heard so much about this place called Bermuda and I’ve met a few of Mommy & Daddy’s friends who they meet there….but this weekend I finally met most of the crew. I went with Mommy & Daddy to St. Catherine’s for Brian & Christina’s wedding weekend. It was fun to meet the Bermuda friends.

Some of the Bermuda friends brought their babies too. My hotel room became baby party central on Saturday night. It was lots of fun. My grandma Ruth came down to babysit us while Mommy & Daddy went to the wedding. I got to share my toys with my buddy Cameron and Owen. We had a good time hanging out together. (Don’t tell anyone but I played with Owen’s Elmo phone and drooled on it - sorry Owen)

Pit Stop
During the week, my cousin Ruby was passing through town with my Aunt Stephie and Uncle Toddy. They decided to make a small detour and come see me and Mommy for lunch. It was a short visit, but it was really nice to see them. I feel very special, in the last two weeks, I’ve seen so many of my family members.

Dairy Queen Date
On Wednesday we went for a date to Dairy Queen with Kari, Mike and their two cute daughters. Apparently it was unseasonably cold when we went, but that didn’t stop the adults from indulging in something called a “blizzard”.

Weekend in Review July 11th to 13th

More Family!
On Saturday I went with Mommy and Daddy to a little farming town about 2 hours outside of Toronto. When we got there we attended something called a “family reunion”, but for me it was a family introduction. This reunion was for Mommy’s Mom’s side of the family. Apparently they are decedents of some Quaker Oats cereal people. I guess that’s why they used to be dairy farmers as well….because of all the cereal. That’s cool….I love Milk.

Being the new addition to the family, I seemed to be one of the main attractions for some people at this reunion. I didn’t mind, it was fun and interesting to meet all these people….but forgive me if I don’t remember all your names.

Finally some R&R
On Sunday we finally had some downtime and I caught up with Daddy for a little while. We slept in and then slowly experienced the day. It wasn’t long before Grandma and Granddad come by again to say hello and we spent the afternoon together. I took Mommy and Daddy out for a long walk, which was nice as they needed some exercise after eating all that food and cakes at the reunion.

Week in Review July 7th to 10th

Grandma and Granddad’s House
We spent the entire week at Granddad and Grandma Wood’s house in Ottawa. It was so much fun to spend time with them and see where they live. Grandma Wood showed me all around their house and their garden. We went for walks and Grandma set up a big space for me in the living room so I could roll around and play. On my first night there I surprised Grandma Wood (and Mommy) by rolling from my tummy to my back for the first time. (I like to save my little moves for the Grandmas.)

On the Road again!
Well I sure seem to spend a lot of time in these things called cars. After spending a week in Ottawa with the Grandparents I went back on the road and headed home to Toronto. I was happy as I was going to see Daddy again, but it sure felt like I was in the car almost the whole day.

Week in Review June 29th to July 6th

Ottawa
I’m in someplace called Ottawa with my Mommy this week. We are visiting Grandma and Granddad for the week and apparently we have a bunch of places to visit and explore. Should be a fun week of vacationing here.

On the Road again
On Sunday afternoon, we packed up a bunch of my stuff and loaded the car for another road trip. This time we headed east and we stopped in Kingston at Uncle John and Aunt Kelly’s place for dinner. Granddad Wood was also there and he and Daddy transfered all my stuff from my car into Granddad's minivan as he was taking us the rest of the way to Ottawa. Daddy had to return home as he had to go to someplace called work. I was sad when Daddy left and cried in the van until I feel asleep.

Sleepy Time
Mommy called it a miracle, but I was simply tired. Apparently I slept just over 7 hours straight on Saturday night. This is something new apparently. All I know is that I woke up super hungry and noticed that Mommy had a bunch more energy on Sunday. She was smiling and kept saying how great she felt after a full night’s sleep for the first time in 5 months. I told her if she’s tired she just needs to sleep and take naps like I do.

Happy Canada Day - Eh!
Wednesday was a really fun day. Daddy was able to spend the whole day with Mommy and I. We even did a road trip up to a place called Barrie, where we visited our friends Jeremy & Caroline and their two kids (Wes and Avery). We stayed for the afternoon for a BBQ lunch and celebrate Canada day outside until it started to rain. I liked being outside and I tried out an inflatable inner tube/play tube (see video below) while 2 year old Wes checked out the sunroof on my car.
