The camp was really quiet after my cousins and aunt went home to the west coast. I miss playing with them. I wish they could have stayed longer. I can’t wait to see them again.
Oh, here are some more people
I spoke too soon! On Thursday evening, a pile of Mommy & Daddy’s friends and their kids came to the camp to visit with us. Jer & Carolyn with their kids Avery & Wes came all the way from Barrie, while Mike & Michelle flew in from Calgary just for a few days of beers & campfires & olden day stories. Mommy & Daddy went to school with these people. They had tons of great stories to share and I could tell Mommy and Daddy liked them very much because they were always laughing and smiling. It was a fun time.
Nature walks are tiring
We did a bunch of fun stuff around the camp and one day went on a long nature walk to a beaver dam. While on the walk, I fell asleep in Mommy’s arms. It turns out Avery was just as tired and she fell asleep as well. I guess us infants find this fresh air and excitement too much sometimes.
Hanging with Mommy & Daddy
By Monday afternoon everyone was gone back to their homes and that left just me, Mommy & Daddy at Grandpa J’s camp. We appreciated the down time and decided to relax and enjoy the awesome weather. Mommy went out on a kayak ride, while Daddy & I hung out on the beach, then we all went for a long walk to build up our appetites for dinner. All that fresh air made us tired, so we watched a movie and went to bed early. Good thing we went to bed when we did, as we had a long drive back to Toronto the next day.
